Poway Democratic Club Meeting

Visit Creekside Plaza's Community Room, located behind Chipotle and nex to the open air amphitheater, for the next meeting of the Poway Democratic Club.

The night's program wil be "Taking Back the Media " led by speakers Mike Thaller and John Mattes. They will discuss how Democrats in San Diego County can use the media in spite of its right-wing ownership.

Mike Thaller is the Director of Communications and Media for the San Diego County Democratic Party. He is also on the Executive Board of the California Democratic Party where he is vice-chair of the Progressive Caucus. He is a Computer Project Manager and formerly a television director specializing in writing, producing, and directing commercials.

John Mattes is an investigative Reporter, formerly of FOX news and one of his investigations was recently featured on the Today show.
