Chill Out This Weekend with Local Entertainment

Your Patch guide to weekend happiness.

Weather reports call for a cloudy weekend, here in Poway. Take advantage of the cool weather we’ll have and get out! Besides, there are only two more weekends left until the unofficial end of summer, so milk them for all you can.

This weekend, Aug. 19-21, Poway has some great activities, fundraisers and entertainment available. Visit a craft fair that’s back twice a month, listen to a cellist and watch a Disney/Pixar favorite with your whole family. Rancho Bernardo has a Bingo fundraiser to attend.

Head east to Ramona for some wine and paella, with a whole lot of laughs from romantic comedy French Kiss. Travel to the Del Mar Fairgrounds for some food-truck fun and a concert by Devo, where you’ll sing some ironic lyrics after the horse races.
