Poway High Principal Fisher Receives Mayor's Award

Poway High School Principal Scott Fisher was the recipient of the Mayor's Award at Tuesday night's City Council meeting.

Fisher, who is retiring at the end of the school year, was called a “positive influence" on his many students over the years by Poway's Mayor Don Higginson. 

“It’s been a delightful career here in Poway. It’s a unique place, it’s a special place,”  Fisher said after receiving the award. “I offer, with a sincerity, a special thanks to Poway for all the support we’ve received from them.”
