Class of 2012: Poway High Seniors Turn the Tassel
Thousands turn out to see Poway High's newest graduates get their diplomas.
The Class of 2012 walked onto the field of Titan Stadium Thursday evening as high school seniors, and walked off as newly minted graduates.
The stands were packed with family and friends there to see diplomas handed out and caps thrown into the air. Principal Scott Fisher shook hands with each graduate after they received their diplomas and headed back to their seats, ready to face the future.
“Whatever it is that you do in the future, please carry this very special spirit with you,” Fisher said. “You have already left an indelible record on Poway High School, and on this community. This Class of 2012 will long be remembered.”
