Rescue Riders a Valuable Resource for Poway Hikers

Here in Poway, there are plenty of trails to hike along. Unfortunately, sometimes hikers become distressed or lost, and an efficient way to search for said hikers is with the rescue riders.

The mountain bike team of volunteers is made up of all types of individuals: a Sheriff's sergeant, the owner of an embroidery business and a retired Marine now working in health care.
