Update: Man Killed in Espola Road Crash; Truck Hit Trees
The 43-year-old Lakeside man was the only person in the truck when it crashed.

A 43-year-old Lakeside man died late Wednesday after his Ford F150 crashed into trees on the 1600 block of Espola Road, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
The man was the only person in the truck when he was heading southbound on Espola Road, south of Lake Poway Road, around 10:46 p.m. He lost control of the truck and crashed into trees. Emergency responders tried CPR, but the man did not respond and was pronounced dead at the scene.
