Crime Log: $18K Motorcycle Stolen; Multiple Reports of Vehicle Vandalism
The following incidents from July 30-Aug. 5 were listed at the Sheriff's Department Poway substation.
July 30: An arrest was made at the 13600 block of Wiley Court. A 45-year-old man was arrested on probable cause for being drunk in public
July 30: Two arrests were made at the intersection of Old Pomerado and Old Stone Roads.
-A 19-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of possessing a controlled substance, possessing unlawful paraphernalia and possession of up to an ounce of marijuana.
-A 20-year-old woman was arrested on probable cause of possessing a controlled substance, possessing unlawful paraphernalia and possession of up to an ounce of marijuana.
July 30: An arrest was made at the 13000 block of Civic Center Drive. A 53-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of being drunk in public.
July 31: Battery was reported at the 12700 block of Cherrywood Street. A 19-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of battery with serious bodily injury and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
July 31: Petty theft was reported at the 14700 block of Poway Mesa Drive. A cellphone, valued at $200, was reported stolen.
July 31: Stolen property was found at the intersection of Ted Williams Parkway and Twin Peaks Road. Miscellaneous property and household goods were found.
July 31: Stolen vehicle was reported at the 12600 block of Oak Knoll Road. A black motorcycle, valued at $18,000, was reported stolen.
July 31: An arrest was made at the 13100 block of Tawny Way. A 20-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of being drunk in public and a felony bench warrant with another agency.
July 31: Harassing phone calls were reported at the 14000 block of Jean O Reno Road.
July 31: An arrest was made at the 12800 block of Gregg Court. A 37-year-old woman was arrested on probable cause of shoplifting. Kohl's reported stolen miscellaneous jewelry and cosmetics, valued at a total of about $173.
July 31: Vandalism was reported at the 13000 block of Civic Center Drive. The City of Poway reported miscellaneous damage on their property, valued at $3,500.
Aug. 1: Drugs were found at 13100 block of Bowron Road.
Aug. 1: Narcotics were found at the 12900 block of Community Road. Marijuana was found.
Aug. 1: An arrest was made at the intersection of Silverset Street and Twin Peaks Road. A 34-year-old male was arrested on probable cause of exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm (lethal cutting instrument).
Aug. 1: An arrest was made at the 13400 block of Community Road. Walmart reported miscellaneous stolen items, valued at $64.76. A minor was arrested on probable cause of shoplifting.
Aug. 1: Commercial burglary was reported at the 12200 block of Scripps Poway Parkway. Extra Mile reported stolen cash registers valued at $200.
Aug. 2: Petty theft was reported at the 12600 block of Poway Road. A cell phone, valued at $800, was reported stolen.
Aug. 2: Commercial burglary was reported at the 13500 block of Poway Road. Stater Bros. reported burglary. A 48-year-old woman was arrested on probable cause of burglary, forgery and possessing a bad check.
Aug. 2: Fraud was reported at the 13100 block of Alpine Drive.
Aug. 2: Spousal abuse was reported at the 12800 block of Poway Road. A 23-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of spousal abuse with minor injury.
Aug. 3: Narcotic paraphernalia was found at the 12200 block of Oak Knoll Road.
Aug. 4: Petty theft was reported at the 12800 block of Poway Road. A wallet, cash, miscellaneous items and an ID, valued at a total of $275, were reported stolen from a building.
Aug. 4: Stolen motorcycle was reported at the 13400 block of Brian Park Lane. A black motorcycle, valued at $900, was reported stolen.
Aug. 4: Vehicle vandalism was reported at the 12600 block of Robison Boulevard.
Aug. 4: Vehicle vandalism was reported at the 14000 block of Brighton Avenue. A blue van and a black, two-door sedan were reportedly vandalized.
Aug. 4: An arrest was made at the 13400 block of Midland Road. A 25-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of:
-residential burglary
-threatening a crime with the intent to terrorize
-using a controlled substance
-possessing unlawful paraphernalia
-violating a domestic relations court order
-possessing/buying/using a stun gun
-damaging jail/prison property
-violation of parole
Aug. 5: A citation was given at the intersection of Community Road and Metate Lane. A 26-year-old woman was cited on probable cause of driving with a suspended license, having an expired registration, driving at an unsafe speed and fail to prove financial responsibility.
Aug. 5: Vandalism was reported at the 15600 block of Oakstand Road.
Aug. 5: Vandalism was reported at the 16600 block of Maverick Lane.
Aug. 5: Petty theft was reported at the 13300 block of Community Road.
