Crime Log: Battery, Spousal Abuse and Stolen Vehicles
The following incidents from May 22-28 were listed at the Sheriff's Department Poway substation.
May 22: Grand theft was reported at the 13500 block of Olive Tree Lane. A musical instrument and miscellaneous musical equipment, totaling just more over $1,000, were reported stolen from a vehicle.
May 22: Fraud was reported at the 12900 block of Avenida La Valencia. Credit card fraud was reported.
May 22: Spousal abuse was reported at the 14000 block of Brighton Avenue. A 22-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of battery on a spouse.
May 22: Stolen vehicle was reported at the 13400 block of Poway Road. A four-door, white sedan was reported stolen.
May 22: Petty theft was reported at Taunt Place. A license plate was reported stolen.
May 22: Spousal abuse was reported at the 13600 block of Pomerado Road.
May 22: Stolen vehicle was reported at the 13600 block of Twin Peaks Road. A blue, four-door sedan was reported stolen.
May 22: Stolen vehicle was reported at the 14000 block of Brighton Avenue. A beige, four-door sedan was reported stolen.
May 22: A stolen vehicle was recovered at the 13600 block of Twin Peaks Road. A dark green, four-door sedan was recovered.
May 23: Commercial burglary was reported at the 12500 block of Kirkham Court. Electronic Control Systems reported burglary.
May 23: An arrest was made at the 13200 block of Poway Road. A 33-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of a felony bench warrant.
May 23: Fraud was reported at the 12000 block of Carmel Mountain Road. Credit Card fraud was reported.
May 24: A citation was given at the 13000 block of Tuscarora Road. A 29-year-old man was cited on probable cause of possessing unlawful paraphernalia.
May 24: Sexual battery was reported at the 12300 block of Old Pomerado Road.
May 24: Grand theft was reported at the 12700 block of Poway Road. Miscellaneous clothing, papers and other items, totaling more than $3,000, were reported stolen.
May 25: Commercial burglary was reported at the 13100 block of Danielson Street. Three computers, worth $3,500 each, were reported stolen from New Image Industries/SDMusic.TV.
May 25: Stolen vehicle was reported at the 12400 block of Poway Road. A $10,000, silver, two-door sedan was reported stolen. Inside the vehicle was an electronic notebook, computer, credit cards and cash.
May 25: Assault with a deadly weapon was reported at the 15400 block of Espola Road. A 19-year-old man had apparent broken bones, possible internal injury and unconsciousness. Another 19-year-old man had apparent minor injury.
May 25: Spousal abuse was reported at the 12000 block of Old Pomerado Road. A 59-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of spousal abuse with minor injury.
May 25: Stalking was reported at the 12400 block of Poway Road.
May 25: An arrest was made at the 13200 block of Civic Center Drive. A 40-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of being drunk in public.
May 27: Spousal abuse was reported at the 13800 block of Olive Grove Place. A 72-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of battery on a spouse.
May 28: Residential burglary-in-progress was reported at the 13400 block of Calle Colina. Rings, a portable music player, a computer, passport and cash, totaling more than $3,500, were reported stolen.
May 28: Battery was reported at the 13400 block of Community Road.
May 28: An arrest was made at the 12400 block of Poway Road. A 25-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of threatening a crime with an intent to terrorize.
