Crime Log: Purse Snatch, DUIs and Residential Burglary
The following incidents from June 3-10 were listed at the Sheriff's Department Poway substation.
June 3: Property was found at the 12700 block of Gateway Park Road. Ammunition was found.
June 4: Residential burglary was reported at the 12400 block of Schaler Drive. A ring, two electronic notebooks, two watches and earrings, totaling more than $3,000, were reported stolen from a a home.
June 4: Petty theft was reported at 13500 block of Acton Avenue. A jacket, credit cards, social security card and miscellaneous items were reported stolen from a vehicle.
June 4: An arrest was made at the 12100 block of Community Road. A 54-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
June 4: An arrest was made at the 12600 block of Poway Road. A 33-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving without a valid driver's license.
June 5: An arrest was made at the 13500 block of Poway Road. A 35-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of being drunk in public.
June 5: Rape was reported at the 13600 block of Starridge Street. A 64-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of oral copulation without consent.
June 5: Lost property was reported at the 12700 block of Pedriza Road. An ATM card was reported stolen and then recovered.
June 6: Burglary in process was reported at the 16400 block of Bridlewood Road. A hard drive, knife, ring, braceletes, earrings, camera, miscellaneous audio/video equipment, checks and cash, totaling more than $4,500, were reported stolen from a home.
June 6: Fraud was reported at the 13300 block of Via Mark. False checks/forgery was reported.
June 6: An arrest was made at the 12700 block of Pedriza Road. A 26-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of threatening a crime with the intent to terrorize.
June 7: Stolen vehicle was recovered at the intersection of Kirkham Road and Scripps Poway Parkway. A previously stolen gray, four-door sedan worth $3,000 was reportedly recovered.
June 7: Petty theft was reported at the 13100 block of Bowron Road.
June 7: Burglary of a vehicle was reported at the 14000 block of Stowe Drive. Car registration, communication equipment (e.g. two-day radios), miscellaneous clothing, a wallet, a checkbook, ID, sunglasses, jewelry and credit cards were stolen from a car.
June 9: An arrest was made at the 16400 block of Bridlewood Road. A 53-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of being drunk in public.
June 10: A stolen vehicle was recovered at the intersection of Scripps Poway Parkway and Community Road. A white pickup truck and stolen license plate were recovered. A 47-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of possessing a stolen vehicle and driving with a suspended license.
June 10: Battery was reported at the 13400 block of Midland Road. A victim had an apparent minor injury.
June 10: Grand theft was reported at the 14800 block of Pomerado Road. A purse, ring, credit cards, cash and electronic component, totaling more than $700, were reported stolen.
June 10: Fraud was reported at the 16600 block of Avenida Florencia. Credit fraud was reported.
June 10: An arrest was made at the 12100 block of Wilsey Way. A 35-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of violating a domestic relations court order.
June 10: Petty theft was reported at the 14800 block of Pomerado Road. A purse was snatched containing a wallet, ID, cash and checks.
