Crime Log: Garden Road Elementary Reports $800 Worth of Vandalism
The following incidents from July 2-8 were listed at the Sheriff's Department Poway substation.
July 2: Burglary of a vehicle was reported at the 12600 block of Poway Road. A purse, wallet, ID and portable music player, valued at a total of $130, were reported stolen from a car.
July 2: Residential burglary was reported at the 12900 block of Community Road. Miscellaneous tools valued at $400 were reported stolen from a home.
July 2: Stolen vehicle was reported at 13700 block of Poway Road. A silver, four-door sedan valued at $3,000 was reported stolen.
July 2: Petty theft was reported at the 13000 block of Edina Way. A pistol, valued at $800, was reported stolen from a building.
July 2: Stolen vehicle was reported at the 15700 block of Summer Sage Road. A blue, four-door sedan and a wallet were reported stolen.
July 3: A citation was given at the intersection of Scripps Poway and Tech Center Parkways. A 22-year-old woman was cited for driving with a suspended or revoked license.
July 6: Petty theft was reported at the 13800 block of Edgemoor Street. Cash totaling $65 was reported stolen from a building.
July 8: Vandalism was reported at the 14600 block of Garden Road. Garden Road Elementary School reported $800 worth of damage or vandalism.
July 8: Vandalism was reported at the 12600 block of Hedgetree Court. A white truck was reportedly vandalized.
