Del Taco on Poway Road has shut down due to lease and rent issues, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.
Barbara Caruso, the spokeswoman, said the restaurant at 12314 Poway Road has been in the community for more than three decades.
Del Taco has appreciated Poway's support, Caruso said, but the lease and rent issues have prompted a "very unfortunate" closure.
