An 11-year-old was found safe Friday afternoon after running away from her mother, authorities said.
Sheriff's deputies were searching for the missing girl via ground units and ASTREA after the girl was reported missing near the intersection of Scripps Poway Parkway and Tech Center Drive around 2:30 p.m.
The Sheriff's Department said the girl was found within 15 minutes.
