SB I-15 Near Poway to Close Temporarily for Improvements

A three-mile stretch of southbound Interstate 15 will be closed over multiple days later this month for drainage improvements.

Two of the region’s busiest freeways will be shut down for construction work over two separate weekends this summer, and motorists are being urged to steer clear of these areas during the closure periods.

“Safety is our main concern during these freeway closures,” Caltrans District 11 Director Laurie Berman said.
