PARADE HAS A GRAND MARSHALL

It's official! The Grand Marshall for the 49th Poway Days Parade, presented by the Rotary Club of Poway-Scripps, is former Poway Council member and Mayor Carl Kruse. According to parade Chair Pauline Getz, Carl is the perfect choice because he brings together three key components of our parade: the City of Poway, Rotary and our parade theme, “I Love a Fit Poway”. He has given more than a decade of service to the City where he lives, is the current Governor of Rotary District 5340, which includes Poway, and is a member of the RB Sunrise Rotary Club, and fitness is important in his life and he has carried the Olympic Torch on three separate occasions.
