Scott Peters, Neighbor

Scott Peters is a San Diego Port Commissioner and a candidate for Congress.

As a Commissioner, he helps guide this major economic engine for the region that produces $3.3 billion in economic impact and supports more than 40,000 jobs. Before joining the Port, Scott represented La Jolla on the City Council for 8 years and was San Diego’s first City Council President.  

He hopes to continue his public service as the U.S. Represenative for the newly drawn 52^nd Congressional District which includes Carmel Valley, Clairemont, Coronado, Del Mar Heights, Downtown, Kearny Mesa, Imperial Beach, La Jolla,Miramar, Mission Bay, Mission Beachm OB, PB, Penasquitos, Point Loma, Poway, RB, Scripps Ranch and University City.

Scott and his wife, Lynn, have lived in San Diego for 22 years; their two children are natives.
