Leslie Sharpe, Neighbor

Leslie Sharpe writes the "Parenting in Poway" column for Poway Patch and is a member of Poway Patch's Moms Council.

Leslie is an employee of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP and is a proud Poway High mother.

Her and her husband of 22 years, Dave, are the parents of three children. Her eldest child, Alexa, 19, is currently a sophomore at the University of Arizona.  Her sons -- Nick, 17 and Ryan, 15 -- are students at Poway High.

Leslie has lived in the City of Poway since 1976 and attended Tierra Bonita Elementary School, Twin Peaks Middle School, and Poway High School.<br> <br> Leslie has been involved with the Rancho Bernardo Pop Warner Association serving many years as a Team Mom for her daughter&#39;s cheer squads, and her sons&#39; football teams.  Currently, Leslie volunteers with the Poway High School Football Team Boosters.<br> <br> Four years ago Leslie received her Aerobics Fitness Association of America (AFAA) certification and currently instructs weekly indoor cycling classes at LA Fitness in Poway, and 24 Hour Fitness in Rancho Penasquitos.
