If someone in your life is an avid golf enthusiast, chances are he or she would enjoy a day following the pros around the South Course at Torrey Pines. It's one thing to see it on TV, but quite another to experience pro golf in person. The 2012 Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines is Jan. 23-29. Get discounted tickets and help Poway's at the same time when you purchase them through the Chaparral Educational Foundation. For every ticket sold, $15 will benefit the Foundation and its mission to see that every student gets a well-rounded education regardless of economics. Visit its website for more information.
