Pins for Paws: Nonprofit to Raise Funds for Rescued Animals

Almost Home to the Rescue

The first fundraising effort for the animal rescue group known as Almost Home is a family-friendly bowling event they're calling “Hearts and Pins for Paws." It will take place Sunday, Feb. 19 at at 1 p.m. All proceeds raised will help rescued dogs and cats from SoCal shelters and pay for the medical expenses associated with rescues, which can be substantial. Tickets are $15 for children and $20 for adults. Details are on the attached flier.

More Ways to Give Back

The Educational Foundation has reached 65 percent of their goal to fund a new computer lab at the elementary school. Consider donating to the school by visiting its website.
