Poway Community Church Celebrates 125 Years of Worship

Around 300 people gathered at the church for a birthday party and much more.

has been a gathering place for religious services and other events for 125 years and counting. On Saturday, around 300 people turned out for a birthday picnic and art exhibit at the church, celebrating both its past and its future.

Those in attendance admired antique cars and enjoyed the food from the . Live entertainment and games for the kids made for a great afternoon. While the church is the oldest wooden building in the county continuously used for religious services, it will continue to serve the community following recent renovations.
