Polly is a 2-year-old spayed female pit bull mix, ID 59503. Polly is a delightful young lady with a cute little face that has endeared her to many of the staff and volunteers.
She is currently attending shelter Canine Good Citizen classes with a volunteer who is committed to teaching her everything she needs to know about being a great family pet. She knows most of her basic commands, including sit, down and stay, and she happily comes when she is called.
Polly can get really excited and exuberant, so she would do best in a home with experienced dog folks who would understand how to give her clear directions and rules to follow.
