Emery is a 1-year-old neutered male Chihuahua mix, ID 63541. Emery is deaf, but he doesn’t seem to see it as a handicap at all.
He’s a friendly little guy, to humans and other dogs, and he is a frequent visitor to the shelter’s Canine Good Citizen classes. He has a volunteer pal who is starting to teach him some simple commands using hand signals, and he seems eager to learn using his other senses instead.
Emery will thrive in a calm household where his life won’t be full of surprises, but he’ll make someone a great walking companion (on a leash) and cuddle pal.
