Poway Weekend Weather Forecast

It's the first weekend of the summer. How hot will it get?

Summer has officially arrived, meaning scorching-hot temperatures are possible over the next several months. While mild temperatures are in the forecast over the weekend, two Cool Zones have been designated in Poway as air-conditioned places people can go to escape extreme heat.

Intended for low-income, homebound seniors and people with disabilities, the program was started in 2001 by the county Health and Human Services Agency and SDG&E. The two Cool Zones in Poway are and the .
