Poway Swim School Launches Photo Contest

The top 12 pictures will splash the pages of the Floaties calendar, which is sold to raise money for a non-profit organization that promotes water safety.

Poway's Floaties Swim School has launched their 2013 Floaties Photo Calendar Contest. In Floaties Swim School’s dedication to educate youth and adults about water safety and how to swim, Floaties is encouraging fans to upload “Floatie Faces” photos to their social media sites, managed by Parallel 6, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Open through July 18, the contest will allow fans to post and vote for their favorite photos. The grand prize winner will be awarded a GoPro Hero Waterproof Camera.

The 12 pictures with the highest votes will also splash the pages of Floaties Swim School’s first “It’s Floaties Season” swim calendar. All calendar sale proceeds will benefit the non-profit Abbey’s Hope in its quest to raise awareness and educate parents and children about how to safe guard children in and around pools, spas and open bodies of water.
