Poway High's Justin Zakrajsek to Perform at RB Fireworks Show
Zakrajsek won this year's RB Idol competition.
Poway High School's Justin Zakrajsek wowed the judges at this year's RB Idol talent competition, giving him the opportunity to perform before thousands on the Fourth of July.
Zakrajsek came in first place during the eighth annual RB Idol competition on June 27. Rancho Bernardo High School's Samantha Belgum came in second, followed by Kylie MacLean of Hannalei Elementary School in third place. All three have been invited to perform at a nighttime fireworks show in Rancho Bernardo on Thursday.
The show begins at 6 p.m. Thursday at Bernardo Heights Middle School, 12990 Paseo Lucido in San Diego. Entertainer Eve Selis is also scheduled to perform. The fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Admission is $10 for individuals, and $20 per family.
