Padres TV Trouble: Parts of Poway to Miss Opening Day and Beyond
So far, only subscribers to DirecTV and Cox Communications will be able to watch Padres games on TV.
Depending on where you live in Poway may determine whether or not you will be able to watch the San Diego Padres’ home opener at Petco Park Thursday against the Dodgers.
Newly formed Fox Sports San Diego has the TV rights to Padres games, but only DirecTV and Cox Communications have reached agreements to carry the games. Poway residents that have Time Warner Cable, U-Verse or the Dish network will not be able to watch the games on TV until a deal is struck with their carrier. But all the games can still be heard on the radio at XX 1090 AM.
