RB, Poway High Baseball Teams on a Collision Course

Next week's 3-game series between the Broncos and Titans likely will decide Palomar League title.

With both the Rancho Bernardo High and Poway High baseball teams unbeaten in conference play with six games remaining on the Palomar League schedule, something's got to give, and that likely will happen next week.

That's when the Broncos and Titans square off in a three-game series that will go a long way in determining which team claims  the league crown. They both sport 9-0 records entering play on Wednesday, with RB having the easier schedule leading up to next week's showdown.

Rancho Bernardo (18-5 overall) plays at Westview (4-19, 1-8) on Thursday and hosts the Wolverines on Saturday. In the series opener Tuesday, the Broncos used a 10-run second inning to coast to a 13-1 victory.
