Poway High Football Star Will Be a Wildcat

cornerback Derek Babiash took to Twitter Sunday, announcing his decision to attend the University of Arizona and play for new coach Rich Rodriguez. The Titans will have one more year with senior-to-be Babiash roaming the defensive backfield.

He originally committed to Washington but decided to consider more offers, including from Oklahoma, Nebraska, Boise State and Arizona State. Rankings by Rivals.com listed Babiash 41st among high school cornerbacks in the nation.
