Come
and join us for the Teen Catfish-O-Rama, (ages 11 through 17) at Lake Poway, on
Friday August 17, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Final weigh-in will be at 9:00
p.m. followed shortly after by an award ceremony with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and
3rd place winners for two age divisions (ages 11-13 and 14-17). A Lake Poway
fishing permit is required to participate in the event; $3 for ages 11-15 and
$6 for ages 16-17.  Half day boat rentals begin at 3:00 p.m. for event
participants only and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Permits, boat rentals, bait, tackle, food and beverages are available at Lake
Poway Grill and Tackle. Participants 15 and under must be accompanied by an
adult while using a boat. This nighttime catfish tournament promises to be
filled with lots of big fish, fun, and great prizes. This event occurs during
normal Night Fishing operations. Lake Poway is located at 14644 Lake Poway Road.
