Free Family Day Party at Poway Samurai Martial Arts

Poway Samurai Martial Arts is holding a free Family Day Party at their dojo on Sunday June 12th from 11am – 4pm at their school located at 13160 Poway Road (in the Poway Library Plaza Shopping Center).

All are welcome to attend the event. Students will be demonstrating techniques they have learned and those who have been curious about the Japanese martial arts of the Samurai and Ninja can see firsthand how these combat techniques work successfully for self defense.

“The information we teach is directly from the ancient scrolls”, says owner Tony Whetstine. “If the techniques did not work they were not written down because the combatant did not make it through the battle.”

In addition to the Kobudo and Ninjutsu martial arts demonstrations, those in attendance will also be able to see rare clips from “Shinobi Winds”, the most in-depth and comprehensive documentary covering the events and history of the legendary Ninja warriors of medieval Japan.
