Chargers Warn Fans of Fraudulent Tickets

The team is reminding fans to be careful when buying tickets from a secondary source.

The San Diego Chargers are reminding fans buying tickets for Sunday's sold-out game against the Green Bay Packers at Qualcomm Stadium from secondary and unofficial ticket sources to be careful because such tickets can often be fraudulent or counterfeit.

Counterfeit tickets often look so real that fans do not realize the ticket has been duplicated or is counterfeit until they try to enter the stadium, a Chargers official said.

The Chargers advise fans still seeking tickets to visit the online NFL Ticket Exchange, www.NFL.com/TicketExchange, the league's official ticket marketplace, where all tickets listed are authentic and guaranteed.

Tickets for the game against the undefeated defending Super Bowl champion Packers were only sold as part of full or mini-season ticket plans or through purchase of tickets to one of the Chargers two home exhibition games.
