Poway High Athlete to Continue Lacrosse Career in Rhode Island

Ryan Sharpe played football and lacrosse for the Titans, but will only have time for one at Bryant University.

Poway High senior Ryan Sharpe is a two-sport star, a threat with a football in his hands or a lacrosse stick.

When he travels to Rhode Island to attend Bryant University in the fall, he’ll concentrate on lacrosse. While he said it will be bittersweet to attend school so far from his Poway roots, he’s exited about continuing his lacrosse career for the Bryant Bulldogs.

“I loved it there,” Sharpe told Patch last year of a visit to the campus. “It was the atmosphere—everyone there is awesome. They’re all fun to be around.”
