  • Budget Projections for 2012-13: The board will be asked to approve a proposed budget for next school year, which includes a $35.6 million deficit to be covered with reserve funds. After drawing down reserves to cover the budget gap, the district will be left with $12.5 million in reserve.
  • Bigger Cuts Down the Line: Because the district expects to go into the red in 2013-14 unless cuts are made, a resolution is required a resolution projecting how much must be cut.
