PUSD Elementary Students Perform for Bertrand's Music 30th Anniversary

Nearly 100 Poway Unified School District elementary students helped celebrate a local company's 30th anniversary at a musical concert Sunday at Mount Carmel High School.

Bertrand’s Music Enterprises selected 100 elementary school music students, most of which came from PUSD schools, to participate in the All County Band and Orchestra on June 2. The free program "aims to positively challenge first year musicians," according to a press release, and students were chosen based on music ability, citizenship, and music teacher recommendations.
