Meeting as a group for the first time, Patch’s Prime Poway Women gathered Wednesday night at Bernardo Winery and were toasted by a representative of state Sen. Joel Anderson and current and founding editors of Poway Patch.

Hoa Quách, organizer of the event and first editor of Poway Patch, was joined in saluting many of the 31 daily story subjects by current editor Shauntel Lowe and Chris Jennewein, senior regional editor for Patch, as well as Ken Stone, like Quách an associate regional editor for Patch in San Diego County.

Held at Café Merlot on the winery grounds straddling Poway and Rancho Bernardo, 2012 Prime Poway Woman Toni Kraft—owner of the café—helped make 2013 honorees welcome and served up snacks and dinner with a variety of wines.
