Flu Shot Clinic

TheHealth and Wellness Ministry of St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church will host aFlu Shot Clinic on Sunday, September 30, form 9:00 am until noon in St.
Bartholomew's Parish Hall.  The flu shots will be provided by Palomar Health.


The 2012 - 2013 vaccine will provide protection against an A/H1N1-like virus, an A/H3N2-like virus, and an influenza B-like virus.  It takes up to two weeks for protection to develop after the shot, and protection lasts six-months to one year. Everyone 18 years of age or older is encouraged to get a flu shot.

The cost is $20 for all people between 18 and 65 years.  If you have a financial hardship, arrangements will be
made for a free vaccine.

Palomar Health System will bill Medicare for those patients who have straight Medicare, Medicare with supplement or Tricare for Life. Those eligible must bring their Medicare and Insurance cards. They are unable to bill Medicare Advantage plans. You will pay at the clinic and then submit for reimbursement from your insurance.  Call your insurance company for details.
