WHAT: Giant Community Rummage Sale benefitting Abraxas High School
WHEN:Saturday May 21 2011 from 9 am to 2 pm

WHY:Raise funds to support Abraxas student services for low income, working and homeless students
HOW IT WORKS:The public is invited to donate gently, used, quality household items and goods for the rummage sale, and also invited to shop at the sale.
DONATION COLLECTION
Saturdays (4/30, 5/7, 5/14 at Abraxas)
Attended donation times 10am‐ 2pm
Allied Van Line trailer will be located in Abraxas school parking lot.
Volunteers will help unload donations.
ON‐ SITE DAY OF EVENT
Saturday May 21
Set up begins at 6:30am.
9am – 2pm shopping open to the public.
2pm – 3pm clean‐ up, unsold items picked up and donated to San Diego Rescue Mission
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
PRE‐ EVENT:
Saturdays: 4/30, 5/7, 5/14
Shifts: 10‐Noon, Noon ‐ 2 p.m. (2 people per shift)
EVENT DAY:
Shifts: 7‐9 am, 8:30 ‐ Noon, 11:30 ‐ 3:00
Minimum Age: 12
Skills Needed: Spanish speakers/students a plus
