State Treasurer Says PUSD Bond Staff Should Be Fired

The state official told a local news organization that those responsible should be fired.

California Treasurer Bill Lockyer said the Poway Unified School District should fire staff members responsible for the controversial bond deal, according to a VoiceOfSanDiego.org report.

Lockyer told the news organization that many school districts have made "really bad deals" and "a number of these deals where the repayment ratio is, like, 30-1."
