Eliminate Income Tax for Those Making Minimum Wage

Help the middle class and stimulate the economy.

The middle class are under siege.

I propose we give them the assets and resources to get by and thereby stimulate the economy. How about cutting the income tax? Specifically for those making minimum wage and those doing public service jobs. Tax code reform otherwise would be key to cover any revenue losses incurred. If necessary, then a tax increase on the wealthy at and above a defined threshold. That threshold would be based on those that do not have clear investments in California that create jobs and/or mean stable real estate investments.

I would eliminate the income tax for middle class people focused specifically on middle class earners and as high as those making equal to or less than $35,000 per year.

That way these individuals and families can spend the money in their own local communities where they will stimulate jobs instead of just being funneled to Sacramento where partisan politics will do what it will.
