Mates ahoy, Scripps Ranch-based National Multiple Sclerosis Society partners with MS Cruisers program

Avast, ye mateys, and shiver me timbers, National Multiple Sclerosis Society partners with "MS Cruisers" featuring ocean cruise seafaring vacations for people with MS, family members and friends

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s San Diego-based Pacific South Coast Chapter, with headquarters in Scripps Ranch at 12121 Scripps Summit Drive,has announced it will again partner with the “MS Cruisers” program in 2013, featuring ocean cruise vacations for people with MS, family members and friends. The MS Cruisers program, launched in 2011, will offer trips in 2013 to the Mexican Rivera aboard Holland America’s Zaandam in February and to Canada and New England aboard Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas in September.

 

The Mexican Rivera trip, Feb. 9-16, departs from San Diego and includes stopovers in Puerto Vallarta, Mazaltan and Cabo San Lucas. The Canada-New England trip, Sept. 29-Oct. 6, leaves from Boston and includes visits to Portland and Bar Harbor in Maine, St. John, New Brunswick and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The trips are arranged by Fun Cruise and Travel (FCT), a Florida-based travel agency specializing in travel for people with chronic illnesses. FCT has reportedly booked trips for more than 2,000 people with MS since 2001. More information about the cruises is available at www.MSCruisers.com.
