Poway's DMV Might Be Getting Busier

The closing of the Escondido DMV for several months could mean an influx of customers for Poway's office.

Those DMV lines you love to hate to wait in? They could be getting worse soon.

The Escondido DMV office is closing in May due to a dispute over parking, according to a U-T San Diego report, redirecting the flow of an estimated 200,000 visitors per year to nearby offices in Poway, Oceanside and Temecula for seven to nine months.
