With less than a month left until Election Day, campaigns are getting hotter.

Here's a summary of the finance reports to see where all the candidates stand as Nov. 2 gets closer.

Candidates for mayor:

Incumbent Don Higginson has received $4,150 in contributions and has spent $1,528.

Challenger Nick Stavros has received $950 in contributions and $2,500 in loans. He has spent $2,520.43.

Candidates for City Council:

Incumbent Carl Kruse has received $6,735 in contributions and took a loan of $500. He has spent $5,032.36.

Incumbent John Mullin has received $21,369 in monetary contributions and $100 in nonmonetary contributions. He has spent $19,364.52.

Challenger Pete Babich has received $4,785.00 in contributions, $2,000 in loans and $324.00 in nonmonetary contributions. He has spent $4,669.48.

Challenger Dave Grosch has received $1,560 in contributions and $3,258 in loans. He has spent $4,665.

Why Mullin?

According to the financial disclosure statement, Mullin has received a number of contributions from private citizens, most of which range from $100-$200 during his campaign.
