Veterans Day Commemoration

The Poway Veterans Park Committee and VFW Post 7907 are holding a ceremony for the public to commemorate Veterans Day

The ceremony at Veterans Park will commemorate past, present and future members of the armed services.  It will begin by "posting the colors" on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. 

Special guests will include members of American Legion Post 479, Fleet Reserve Association Branch 70, and a local Cub Scout troop.

The ceremony will end with the Veterans Park cannon firing twice. A free BBQ lunch, at the , 12342 Old Pomerado Road, will follow the ceremony.
