The Poway Veterans Park will be dedicated with a patriotic celebration that includes a Navy Leap Frog team, live brass band and a live canon salute. A Wall of Honor will be unveiled.
Representatives from the VFW, American Legion, Fleet Reserve, the Elks Club and Merchant Seamen will be on hand. City officials and dignitaries will speak.
The new park will then host its first Veterans Day Ceremony, following the dedication at 11 a.m.
