Prior to the 11 a.m. event, local Cub Scouts will place American flags, presented by the Poway VFW, on the graves of the veterans buried in Dearborn Memorial Park.

A parade of the colors, either by the MCAS Miramar Color Guard or the Westview High School ROTC, will kick off the memoriam, followed by the national anthem.
