Report: Congressional Candidate Violates Rules by Filming Ad at Cemetery

John Stahl postpones campaign commercial after questions are raised about the legality of where it was filmed, according to U-T San Diego.

Congressional candidate John Stahl's campaign commercial violates federal regulations, according to a U-T San Diego report.

Stahl's campaign ad—which was filmed at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery—violates regulations that prohibit national cemeteries in political campaign ads, according to the newspaper.

Stahl—who is running in the 52nd Congressional District, which will represent Poway, Rancho Bernardo, La Jolla and Coronado—told U-T that he is now postponing the broadcast schedule for the campaign commercial.
