White Substance Found in Twin Peaks Middle School Locker

The powdery material was discovered Monday morning.

A bag of a white powdery substance was discovered at Twin Peaks Middle School Monday morning.

The substance—which was discovered with the help of a narcotics dog—isn't believed to be a drug, though it will be tested, according to Detective Warren Voth.

"There's nothing conclusive but I would say that it doesn't look like any controlled susbtance," Voth said. "It looks like flour or baking powder. My guess is that a kid put it in a locker as a joke."

Voth said the Sheriff's Department will know Tuesday exactly what the substance is.
