Suspect Sought for Armed Robbery at US Bank Branch
A man displaying a gun and wearing face paint robs the bank in the corner of Poway and Community roads late Saturday morning.
Crime-scene tape surrounded the on the corner of Poway and Community roads Saturday afternoon after an armed robbery was reported.
The suspect entered the bank at 13395 Poway Rd. around 11:20 a.m., displayed a gun and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the Sheriff’s Department. No injuries were reported.
The suspect was last seen on foot, according to a sheriff’s dispatcher. He was described by authorities as a black male adult, approximately 25 years old, wearing white face paint, a dark hooded jacket, a red baseball hat, dark sunglasses and dark pants.
