State Agency Seeks Reimbursement from Family Over Route 67 Lawsuit

Caltrans is asking a Ramona family to pay $73,802 in legal fees after the family it sued the company over Route 67, according to U-T San Diego.

Pamela and Shannon McKeirnan, who lost their daughter in a car crash in 2009, took Caltrans to court claiming that the route is dangerous. It lost the case over the summer, according to the newspaper.
