Poway Crime Report: Sept. 25-Oct. 1

Tuesday, Sept. 25

A 21-year-old male was arrested for DUI on Poway Road at Silver Lake Drive at 3:51 a.m.

A saddle valued at $975 was reported stolen from a business in the 14100 block of Poway Road.

A car valued at $10,000 was reported stolen in the 12100 block of Tech Center Drive.

A watch valued at $12,000 was reported stolen from a building in the 13300 block of Arroya Vista Road.  

Wednesday, Sept. 26

A residential burglary was reported in the 15300 block of Markar Road. A check-cashing card and prescription drugs were reported stolen.

Three items with a combined value of $299.97 were reported stolen from Kohl’s on Gregg Court.

A residential burglary was reported in the 12800 block of Dakota Street. Two computers with a combined valued at $650 were reported stolen.

A grand theft from the City of Poway was reported in the 14500 block of Arbolitos Drive. The theft occurred between Sept. 21 and Sept. 24 and the loss was estimated at $4,000.

Thursday, Sept. 27

An 18-year-old male and an 18-year-old female were arrested for commercial burglary and conspiracy, both felonies. Kohl’s on Gregg Court was listed as a victim, and the suspects were arrested on Orchard Bend Road just after 5 p.m. Miscellaneous items valued at $964 were recovered.

A 19-year-old male was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance in the 17900 block of Cielo Court at 11:50 p.m.

A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 14800 block of Pomerado Road. Damage to the paint job was estimated at $600.

A 37-year-old male was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance in the 13100 block of Avenida La Valencia at 1:39 a.m.

Friday, Sept. 28

Electronics valued at $1,208 were reported stolen from Walmart on Community Road.

The theft of $1,300 in currency was reported in the 14600 block of Sunrise Canyon Road.

Saturday, Sept. 29

A 21-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public in the 13100 block of Poway Road at 12:39 p.m.

A 24-year-old male was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance in the 14000 block of Brighton Avenue at 12:30 a.m.

Sunday, Sept. 30

A 42-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public in the 12600 block of Oak Knoll Road at 8:25 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 1

A portable music device valued at $300 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 14200 block of Mariana Drive.

A case of identity theft was reported in the 13800 block of Midland Road. The loss was estimated at $1,075.96.
