Poway Crime Report: Sept. 11-18

Incidents of note from the press board at the Poway Sheriff’s Station.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

A juvenile was detained for felony robbery in the 13000 block of Civic Center Drive at 9 p.m. A 62-year-old male victim was not injured, and a cell phone valued at $200 was recovered.

A theft by use of access card information was reported in the 13600 block of Pomerado Road. A cell phone valued at $400 and $400 in currency were reported stolen.

A subject stop led to a juvenile being detained for daytime loitering by a minor who should be in school on Pomerado Road at Leone Way just after 1 p.m.

A 30-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public on Twin Peaks Road at Pomerado Road at 7:45 a.m.

A briefcase was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 14600 block of Heritage Way.

A juvenile was detained for possession of alcohol and marijuana on Community Road at Civic Center Drive at 1:19 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 12

A residential burglary was reported in the 12400 block of Robison Boulevard. Two purses and jewelry with a combined value of $650 were reported stolen.

Thursday, Sept. 13

A 21-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public on Community Road at Hilleary Place at 10:10 p.m.

Electronics valued at $300 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 13300 block of Dorset Way.

Two juveniles were detained for misdemeanor shoplifting from Kohl’s on Gregg Court at 7:30 p.m. Eight pairs of earrings with a combined value of $49 were reported stolen.

A 26-year-old male was arrested for DUI in the 14900 block of Pomerado Road just after midnight.

Friday, Sept. 14

A 27-year-old male was arrested for DUI in the 13400 block of Poway Road.

A commercial burglary was reported at Walmart on Community Road. Household goods valued at $4,403.29 were reported stolen.

A 29-year-old female was arrested for being drunk in public in the 12300 block of Poway Road at 1:47 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 15

A call reporting a party disturbance led to the arrest of an 18-year-old male for obstructing/resisting a peace officer in the 17700 block of Vineyard Lane around 1 a.m.

Sunday, Sept. 16

A car was reported vandalized in the 12900 block of Rios Road. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

Monday, Sept. 17

An SUV was reported vandalized in the 12600 block of Birchbrook Court. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

A license plate was reported stolen in the 14500 block of Cedar Ridge Court.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

A 26-year-old male was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance in the 13500 block of Poway Road at 2:47 p.m.
